Wine Philosophy and Land Management

Our wine-making philosophy is to respect the natural environment of the domain, while using modern technology to permit a controlled expression of the "terroir" in the wines.

Vine parcels are interrupted by stretches of woodland and "garrigue" contributing to the ecological balance of the domain.

Soil mangement, pruning and vineyard maintenance is all conducted with an aim of providing low yielding but expressive fruit with a minimum of intervention prior to harvest. The semi-arid climate re-enforces the necessity not to impose excessive stress on the vines.
