Domaine Project and Soil Management

Upon purchase of the domain, we have undertook to :

  * Invest in and rehabilitate the soil in order to recover balance and character,
    adhering importantly to the Cousinie method (www.cousinie.com)

  * Limit vine yields  to c.35 hectolitres per hectare by disciplined pruning.

  * Institute a replanting programme of higher-quality clones, including some whites.

  * Vinify, bottle and age on site some 40-45,000 bottles with capacity to more to 100 000 + more recently on-site bottling

  * Modernize the building to allow  temperature-controlled vinification, aging and storage of       the wine.

  * Open a tasting room for visitors.
